About Ofsted Insights: an independent analytics platform tracking early years inspection outcomes published by Ofsted in England under the renewed Education Inspection Framework.

Ofsted Insights is a specialist analytics platform that tracks and analyses early years inspection outcomes under the renewed Education Inspection Framework (EIF), effective from November 2025.

We automatically collect inspection report cards published on the Ofsted website, extract grading data across up to six evaluation areas, and present them through clear, interactive dashboards.

Our goal is to make Ofsted inspection data accessible, searchable and useful for early years providers, local authorities, consultants and researchers.

Data coverage

Ofsted-registered early years and childcare providers in England: nurseries, pre-schools, childminders and other childcare on the Early Years Register and Childcare Registers, with their inspection history from reports.ofsted.gov.uk, including inspections under earlier frameworks.
